Each State or Territory may have it’s own requirements for the purposes of meeting CPD compliance for solicitors and barristers. It’s up to a solicitor or barrister to ensure they meet such requirements but as a guide we have incorporated into the conference at least 1 session on the following:

·    ethics and professional responsibility

·    practice management and business skills;

·    professional skills or (or barristers’ skills); and

·    substantive law

Note that the requirements for barristers are also slightly different so please ensure that you are familiar with the CPD Rules that apply to you. It’s also up to you to attend the relevant session for the purposes of CPD compliance.
