David Prince

David Prince graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws.  Since 1995, David has practiced extensively in all areas of primary visa application, merits review and judicial review. Since 2010 David has been a Principal Solicitor with Kinslor Prince Lawyers in the Sydney CBD (www.kplaw.com.au).

David has been an accredited immigration specialist of the Law Society of NSW since August 2000. He was on the Specialist Accreditation Committee of the Law Society since from 2014-2023 and the Co-Chair of that committee from 2016-2023.  David is also a Member of the Immigration Lawyers Committee of the Law Council of Australia.  Through the Law Council, he participates in national debate on immigration law and policy and contributes to Parliamentary submissions and he was the Chair of the body between 2017 - 2019.

Between 2007 and 2017 David was a lecturer with the Australian National University Graduate Certificate of Migration Law and Practice course. He has been writing and presenting seminars on all aspects of Australian migration and citizenship law for many years for the universities, legal bodies and many other CPD and entry level course providers. In 2003 and 2006 David edited the Immigration, Citizenship, and Passports Chapters of Halsbury’s Laws of Australia and has also authored the Citizenship and Migration sections of Australian Encyclopaedia for Forms and Precedents.  

David has been voted as amongst Australia’s finest specialist immigrations lawyers in the Australian Financial Review in all years between 2008 and 2024.From 2013
